Privacy Policy
Last updated June 1, 2026.
Template notice: this policy is provided for transparency and should be reviewed by your counsel before relying on it.
ParcelRiskReport ("we," "us") provides parcel-level California natural-hazard reports and the statutory California Natural Hazard Disclosure. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Account information — when you sign in with Google or create an email/password account, we receive your name, email address, and account identifier.
- Business/branding information — your company name, license number, and logo, which you may provide for white-labeling reports.
- Report inputs — the property addresses you submit to generate reports, and the resulting reports.
- Payment information — processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers. We retain a record of purchases and credits.
- Support messages — any message you send us via the contact form or email.
- Technical data — standard request/usage logs (e.g., IP address, timestamps) for security and reliability.
How we use it
- To generate, deliver, and white-label your reports and the statutory NHD.
- To process payments and maintain your credit balance.
- To provide support and improve the service.
- To maintain security, prevent abuse, and meet legal/record-keeping obligations.
Service providers
We share data only as needed with providers that run the service: Cloudflare (hosting, storage, email), Google (sign-in), Stripe (payments), and Google Gemini (report narrative generation). Hazard determinations are drawn from public-agency sources (FEMA, CAL FIRE, USGS, NOAA, EPA, U.S. Census, Cal OES/DWR). We do not sell your personal information.
Retention
We retain account, report, payment, and disclosure records as needed to provide the service and to meet legal and professional record-keeping obligations (relevant to natural-hazard disclosures). You may request deletion of your account; some records may be retained where required by law.
Your choices
You may request access to or deletion of your personal information, and California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA. Contact us to exercise these rights.
